Real Weddings, Real Teamwork: Celebrating My Role with Signature Weddings & Events Designers

When I think about the most rewarding moments of my celebrant journey in Lanzarote, so many of them are tied to one extraordinary partnership: Signature Weddings and Events Designers. What began as a girly friendship in 2015 between Lindsey (the managing director) and I has since blossomed into a trusted business relationship by 2022, and I couldn’t be prouder to be their exclusive celebrant.

Working alongside Lindsey, Tarra and Katie isn’t just a joy professionally - it’s a genuine friendship. We have shared not just hundreds of weddings, but countless laughs, memories, and a good few Christmas cocktails too. (The photo from our works night out says it all!)

It’s a rare and special thing in this industry to find a team whose vision aligns so seamlessly with your own. With Signature Weddings and Events, we don’t just work together - we create together. Every ceremony is a collaboration of creativity, trust, and the kind of passion that brings real magic to life. Our styles complement each other beautifully: their flair for detail, design, and seamless organisation meets my love of storytelling, emotion, and tailoring each ceremony to the couple in front of me.

Over the years, we’ve celebrated more than 100 weddings side by side. From elegant seaside ceremonies to heartfelt villa blessings and last-minute elopements, we’ve shared laughter, happy tears, and countless unforgettable moments. Every single event is infused with energy and warmth, and that’s no accident - it comes from the genuine enthusiasm we all pour into every celebration.

And in 2024, I had the greatest honour of all: officiating Lindsey’s own wedding. To be asked to lead the ceremony for someone who lives and breathes weddings herself was incredibly meaningful - and, if I’m honest, slightly nerve-wracking! The pressure was well and truly on. I even joked during the ceremony that I was either in line for a pay rise… or about to be sacked. Thankfully, judging by the laughter, the happy tears, and the kind words that followed, it’s safe to say I’ll be sticking around. In fact, guests were telling me all evening that a pay rise was well deserved!

What made the day even more special was working with Lindsey’s son behind the scenes to create a surprise element within the ceremony. It was unique, personal, and had the entire crowd alternating between fits of laughter and dabbing at their eyes. That ceremony will forever hold a special place in my heart.
